Octopus Tour started with Luis Mora, who has lived his whole life in Puerto Carrillo and is a passionate fisherman. He bought his 10-seat boat just for fun in 2012, and some people asked him for dolphin tours. And at that moment, the Octopus Tour was born. After 5 years in business, Luis with his nephew Esteban Gamboa decided to expand by buying another new 9-meter boat with seating for 20 people, including a bathroom and stairs to make boarding easy. This expansion also included a brand new office on Main St. in Samara to sell his tours and other local tours, private transportation, and shuttles.
All the tours include transportation from Samara or Carrillo to Carrillo Bay, experienced guides, and captains. Some days, the owners will be your guide and captain. Also included is all the equipment necessary, plus fruits and drinks.
