Roots Bakery & Café is located on Main st. at the entrance to Samara in Patio Colonial. Open at 7 am with a fine and changing daily selection of fresh and hot-out-of-the-oven pastry. Add to it a special local grown and roasted coffee blend to make gourmet coffee and espresso, lattes, mochas, cappuccino, and iced coffee. If this does not jump-start your day try the typical Costa Rican breakfast.
