About an hour from Samara is the area of Zaragoza and home to the Cafetal Santa Rosa coffee plantation.  At heights from 1,400-2,400 feet, they are harvesting beans from over 1,300 Arabica coffee plants.

This property is more than 50 acres and offers specular views, abundant wildlife, and coffee of many different types of local fruit trees.

Your guide will introduce you to the property and explain the company philosophy and the full process from growing to roasting to the taste testing of a great cup of coffee.

You will have the chance to sample coffees and to purchase bags to take home.

Tour time is 4 hours, includes transportation in a shuttle van or a 5-seater side-by-side driven by the guide, and English speaking guides.

You can also choose the tour that will take you to the processing plant in Hojancha, a mountain town 1.5 hrs from Samara.  Learn all the steps that the coffee goes through and what it takes to put that delicious cup of morning coffee in your hands.

Don’t forget sunscreen, a hat, and your camera.

Tour includes transportation, guides, and water.
